Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are now officially a married couple. The long-awaited marriage ceremony of the couple took place on Saturday as they said ‘I do’, exchanging the wedding vows as per Catholic traditions at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Dressed in a Ralph Lauren couture, the 36-year-old looked the perfect bride in the custom-made wedding gown. Soon after the wedding was made official, pictures from Priyanka’s Mehndi ceremony are doing rounds and grabbing all hearts.

While Priyanka’s brothers carried her 'dulha' on their shoulders, the actor looked every bit of beauty in a fabulously folksy, multi-hued organdy ensemble by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Dancing and cheering their way, the 'baaratis' seem to enjoy the Indian festivities with sheer jubilance. Nick looked his handsome self in an aqua bakhiya Indian traditional attire, also by the same designer.
Priyanka’s sister Parineeti Chopra as well as sister-in-law Sophie Turner looked gorgeous and blissfully happy in Indian dresses.
The Quantico star took to her Instagram account to share the gleeful pictures of both the families, immersed in the joyous occasion. She also stressed upon how, for an Indian bride, Mehendi ceremony is one of the most important festivities. She wrote, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi.”
“Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed,” added Priyanka.

Earlier in the day, Nick’s father Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, officiated the Christian ceremony, where the much-in-love couple exchanged their wedding bands, designed by the popular jeweller Chopard.
Following the extravagant dual wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Priyanka and Nick will also have two nuptials ceremony. After the Christian wedding, the couple will now have a Hindu traditional ceremony on Sunday.
Priyanka is expected to wear an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit for her upcoming Hindu wedding.
