R Madhavan may as well be the proudest dad as son Vedaant brought back sliver for India in swimming at the Asian Age Group Swimming Championship. Sharing the news of son Vedaant’s big win, Madhavan posted on his Instagram “India gets her Silver medal at the Asian Games . Gods grace .. Vedaants first official medal representing India .”
Vedaant came second in the 4x100m freestyle relay for group II boys along with other participants Utkarsh Patil, Sahil Laskar and Shoan Ganguly while Thailand scored the gold medal and Japan coming third with a bronze win.
In another post, Madhavan once again congratulating son on how proud of a parent he is wrote, ‘’Proud moment for Sarita and I as Vedaant wins his first medal for India in an international swim meet in Thailand today. Thank you for all your blessings ‘’
Congratulating Vedaant on his first big win, dad’s fellow co-stars also rushed in to show their support. “Incredible achievement!’ commented Rohit Roy Congrats vedant and team india !!!!” while Shilpa Shetty’s husband who also has 6-year-old son Viaan commented, “What a rockstar!!’.
