The last rites of character actor Rajesh Vivek were conducted today here in presence of his family, friends and several film personalities.
“Lagaan” fame Rajesh Vivek, one of industry’s most popular character actors, died yesterday following a heart attack in Hyderabad while he was shooting for a southern film.
He was 66.
“The last rites of Rajesh were performed by his son Vaibhav at Pawan Hans crematorium in suburban Mumbai around 3 PM,” his close friend Vishu Sharma told PTI.
Bollywood filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar, actors including Akhilendra Mishra, Daya Shankar Pandey, Amin Hajee and Raj Zutshi were present for the funeral.
Vivek was known for his roles in hits like “Lagaan”, “Swades”, “Jodha Akbar”.
