Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is a ‘Queen’ of controversy and this cannot be denied. Recently, Kangana took a dig at Ranbir Kapoor for not sharing his opinion on political matters and the latter on Saturday said he has no interest in reacting to the Queen actor's claims.

While talking to the reporters at an event, Ranbir said, "Whatever anyone's asks me I do answer it. I don't have any interest in giving answers to these questions. People can say whatever they want. I know who I am and what I say."

In the meantime, reacting on the demise of veteran acting coach Roshan Taneja, the actor said that he was deeply saddened. Taneja passed away Friday night after prolonged illness. He was 87.

"He is such a great legend of our industry. He had taught acting to my father. Before I had started working on 'Sawaariya' I had done some classes with him. He was a great talent. He was a boon for our film industry. May his soul rest in peace," Ranbir said.

In March this year at a promotional event of Manikarnika, Kangana took a jibe at Ranbir Kapoor and lashed out at him for not speaking on political issues, despite being an influential personality of this country. She had said, “Ranbir Kapoor was telling somebody, ‘Mere Ghar mei toh bijli, paani aata hai (My house gets electricity and water). Why should I (care about) politics?’ You have this house because of this country. It’s the money of the citizens with which you buy a Mercedes. How can you talk like that? This is irresponsible.”

She had also said, “Even if my career goes away, I don’t mind. If there is electricity and water coming in my home that doesn’t mean I don’t care about anyone else.” “Why career is so important to these people that they don’t care about the country at all”. It’s silly to think that I shouldn’t be asked about anything, (thinking) ‘what if I lose an endorsement?’ This is stupid,” the actress concluded.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which is slated to release in summer of 2020.
