Rishi Kapoor who returned to Mumbai in September last year after 11 months treatment in New York has reportedly been admitted to a New Delhi hospital. The actor is in the national capital for shoot.
While the updates on his health are still awaited, Pinkvilla reported Rishi Kapoor's son Ranbir Kapoor has flown to New Delhi to be by his father's side. The actor is accompanied by his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Rishi and Neetu were absent in Arman Jain’s Mehendi ceremony. The star-studded pre-wedding ceremony took place over the weekend with Tara Sutaria, Karisma Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Boney Kapoor and several other Bollywood stars taking part in it where fans noticed that the power couple was missing in the photographs that went viral.
According to the buzz in the tinsel town, Ranbir and Alia were supposed to perform at the sangeet along with the new rumoured love-birds Adar Jain and Tara Sutaria, however had to opt out owing to the family emergency. Alia meanwhile, wrapped shoot for Gangubai Kathiwadi and joined Ranbir for his journey to Delhi.
Rishi Kapoor went through cancer treatment in New York for 11 months where he was visited by several Bollywood celebs from Anupam Kher to Deepika Padukone. The actor was last seen in Emraan Hashmi starrer thriller ‘Body’. Recently, it was announced that the actor will team up with Deepika for her upcoming Bollywood adaptation of The Intern.
