Its finally truce between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan and all credits to the other half of his Karan Arjun jodi, Shah Rukh Khan. Reports have it that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will get the two most popular Bollywood biggies together for a film and not just for a cameo as in Tubelight or Zero but full-fledged roles.
As both the actors are aggressively scouting for good Bollywood projects that would man sure shot success, they have given their nod for the old director, Bhansali. According to a report by DNA, it was a struggle to bring Salman and Shah Rukh Khan together. Many writers, producers, and directors tried to do so, but nobody could do that. Finally, Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave them a great script that has been loved by both of them. They thus agreed to go ahead with the project soon.
The source also revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali met Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Juhu's Soho House to finalize the project. Interestingly this happened after Salman and Sanjay's fallout during 'Inshallah' leaving us much scope to guess is Shah Rukh was the peacemaker in Salman and Bhansali’s botched up relationship.
For the unversed, Salman walked of Bhansali’s project Inshallah over creative and budgetary differences, making the movie being shelved. A source close to the project revealed to ETimes, “The truth of the matter is that Bhansali's cost of production of the film without Salman's fee touched Rs 160 crore and his remuneration was decided by him as Rs 50 crore along with 40 per cent profits".
The source further revealed that Bhansali was not finding investors as satellite and digital rights of Salman's film are sold and recovering Rs 210 crore only though theatrical rights in India and overseas didn't appear to be a profitable deal for them.
