New Delhi:

The cold-shoulder between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali may all be a thing of the past now. After a quiet 19 year since Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are teaming up for a brand-new love story. And as per new updates from the Mumbai Mirror, the Dabangg of Bollywood will team up with SLB in September this year. This choice of a ‘love’ story on Salman’s part came about after he is reported to give his back-to-back action flicks a break such as the Korean remake, Veteran.

"Salman wasn’t keen on doing back-to-back cop films. That’s why he gave the nod to Bhansali’s love story that will help him break away from his larger-than-life image and is being readied for a 2020 release. The yet-untitled action thriller will now go on the floors in the first quarter of next year," a source told the daily.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh also confirmed the news on Twitter and revealed that the film would be a love story. "Sanjay Leela Bhansali & Salman Khan reunite after 19 years for a love story... The film is set to go on floors soon," Adarsh had tweeted.

Talking about the Salman-SLB reunion, a source also told HT,  “Inshallah might be the title of the film that will reunite Sanjay and Salman. He got the title registered last week with IMPAA. And looking at Bhansali’s working style, he might take six to nine months to complete the final draft of the script, and he may start shooting by next year, after Salman is done with his other prior commitments including his next film, Bharat.”

As for the leading ladies, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are being considered although no official confirmation has been made. Salman meanwhile has just Notebook, which is slated to hit screens on March 29, he will also be seen next in Bharat and Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 3.
