Salman Khan who is awaiting yet another one of the biggest releases with Bharat will have no time for his feet on the sofa. According to reports, Salman, who already has 'Inshallah' and 'Dabangg 3’ queued up in his worksheet has reportedly been approached to don on a BSF uniform for a new biopic. According to entertainment website, PinkVilla, a source, close to the actor drop a hint about Salman’s next biopic, "Salman has always been extremely driven by stories that centre around India. Recently, a big banner approached him for a biopic they wish to produce. It will revolve around the life of a BSF jawaan and will be set in Kashmir."
"It's an extremely brave and inspirational story of this one man - an Indian soldier - who single handedly ended the entire camp of Mujahideen militants around 12-14 years ago. Salman loved the entire idea and felt it was an untold real life story that needed to be told. He has given a verbal nod to the film already but his dates need to be figured out."
Talking about forms, this won’t be the first time we have seen Salman sport the uniform for the big screens. Rather a lot of his avatars has revolved around uniforms such as a policeman in the Dabangg franchise, an Army man in ‘Heroes’, an ex-army officer in his 2014 home production 'Jai Ho' and now a Navy officer in the upcoming Ali Abbas Zafar movie. It hence, doesn’t come much as surprise that Salman should fit into another uniform role just fine.
The biopic about the BSF biopic is likely to go on floors sometime around mid-next year, after SLB's Inshallah starring Salman and Alia Bhatt for the first time and also brings together the director-actor jodi after almost two decades.
