Salman Khan’s film ‘Sultan’ has created history by becoming the first Hindi film to cross the Rs 200-crore mark in 7 days of its release. The Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer film has been smashing records at the Box Office, both in India and abroad. The film has recorded biggest weekend earnings ever in Bollywood.
Sultan is likely to earn around Rs 235 crore in the first week. On Wednesday, the film earned Rs Rs 36.54 crore, the highest ever made by a film on a Wednesday.
The film earned Rs 37.32 crore on day 2, Rs 37.10 crore on day 4 and Rs 38.21 crore on day 5. On these days, it broke the record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Krrish and Happy New Year. Sultan is also the biggest hit of 2016.
