Shah Rukh Khan’s quick-thinking reportedly helps save Aishwarya Rai’s manager from catching fire at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party on Sunday. As per reports by Mid-Day, Archana Sadanand, who has worked as Aishwarya Rai’s manager for many years caught fire at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party when her lehenga brushed a diya that was lit nearby. While King Khan was able to dive-in quick and put out the fire just at the knick of time, Sadanand, has been admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and is kept in isolation in the ICU to prevent infections.
Adding that SRK himself suffered minor injuries when helping to douse out the fire, a source told the daily, “Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn’t know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire’’.
Doctors, as of now, add that Archana Sadanand is slowly recuperating from the 15 % burns. No visitors has been permitted to meet her as of Tuesday.
