Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone turned 31 on January 5 and as expected she was inundated with best wishes from across the world.
However, the cutest wish for the diva came from her co-star from upcoming period drama 'Padmavati' - Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid will be seen playing the role of Deepika's hubby in the movie where the actress portrays the titular role of 'Padmavati'.
Sasha took it to micro-blogging site to sent his wishes to Deepika and wrote, "Happy birthday #padmavati. With love from PADMAPATI."

This is the first time Shahid will be sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone.
Interestingly, 'Padmavati' has many more firsts for Shahid Kapoor as well.
Kapoor will portray the role of Raja Rawal Ratan in the movie making it his first portrayal of a historic character.
Besides, the 'Udta Punjab' actor has also collaborated with ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the first time.
'Padmavati' will also star Ranveer Singh in the key role who will be playing the role of lead antagonist Allauddin Khilji.
The movie is touted to release in December this year.
