Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are on cloud nine as the couple is all set to grace the parenthood for the second time. The couple, who are the proud parents of 19-month-old Misha, are now expecting their second child.
Happy father Shahid Kapoor announced the news of Mira's pregnancy on social media in a rather adorable way.
He posted a picture of daughter Misha on Instagram along with some balloons and a note saying 'big sister'. The post clearly stated that the Kapoor princess will soon have a younger sibling.
Notably, the news of Mira's second pregnancy came up after the lady was spotted wearing baggy pants of late which looked like an attempt to hide her baby bump
Interestingly, both Mira and Shahid has been quite keen on having a second child. In fact, in one of his previous interviews, the Padmaavat actor had stated, "Mira, who is just 22, would prefer to have a second kid. She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes."
Mira too shared similar opinions and said that plans to have a career but only after having a second child.
“Yes, I would love to work, especially in a field that is creatively stimulating, but also allows me time with family. Perhaps something with food or lifestyle. I do not have a deadline as I am going to have another baby, and then decide,†Mira was quoted as saying.
On a related note, Shahid Kapoor, who has been lauded for his performance in his last release Padmaavat, is currently busy shooting for Shree Narayan Singh upcoming directorial Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Apart from Shahid, the movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in key roles.
