Shahid Kapoor has all the reasons to grin ear to ear these days both on personal and professional life. The actor is all set to welcome his second child.
He recently made the announcement on social media with a picture of his daughter Misha posing as the 'big sister'.
Indeed, it is a happy time for the proud father Sasha and talking about the same, he said that he felt like sharing the big news with everyone.
"I am very happy and we just felt like sharing it with everyone. Mira wanted to put it out on Instagram and I thought that the photograph was really cute, it was a spontaneous decision and it just happened. It was a great weekend for the family," Shahid said.
Interestingly, the couple always wanted to have a second child and are now quite excited about this new member of the family.
On the other hand, Shahid is been receiving accolades for his performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat. He even won the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award (Best Actor) for the movie.
Elated with the honor, Sasha dedicated the award to his wife Mira for her constant support during Padmaavat
He said, "This is my first award for 'Padmavat' this year, so I am really very happy and I would like to dedicate this award to my wife, Mira because she tolerated me for a year during this period and without her, I wouldn't have been able to do this film. So I am very thankful to her."
Currently, Shahid is busy shooting for Shree Narayan Singh's Batti Gul Meter Chalu which also features Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor in key roles.
