The wait for the much anticipated Shahid Kapoor's upcoming movie Kabir Singh is nearing its end as the actor today announced that the teaser will be out on April 08. Shahid also shared the film's poster on his Twitter and Instagramm account. He captioned the picture saying, "Find the #kabirsingh within you. @Advani_Kiara @imvangasandeep @itsBhushanKumar @MuradKhetani #KrishanKumar @ashwinvarde@KabirSinghMovie."

Kiara Advani who stars opposite Shahid shared the poster saying, "I'm so excited to announce this!! #KabirSingh teaser out on Monday!! stay tuned @shahidkapoor @Advani_Kiara @imvangasandeep @itsBhushanKumar @MuradKhetani #KrishanKumar @ashwinvarde @KabirSinghMovie."
Kabir Singh is a remake of the Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, which released in 2017. The film is being directed by Sandeep Vanga, who helmed Arjun Reddy as well. Arjun Reddy revolves around a troubled and brilliant medical student who falls in love with a fellow student and is then separated from her. He heads down the path of self-destruction after the spit.

In an earlier interview, Shahid has said that recreating a film which is still fresh in people’s minds is a demanding job.
"We are trying to make it as honest and as raw as it was. Not trying to change anything for the sake of it. We are rediscovering it. Of course, the way we do it, there'll be some differences. "It's a good thing because we want to give an experience to people where they don't say 'Oh, we've seen this before.' It must be fresh." Shahid said in an interview with PTI.
The film is s scheduled to release on June 21.Â
