Mumbai:
Director Shoojit Sircar will be working with Amitabh Bachchan on a documentary, which chronicles the life of the megastar.
The `Vicky Donor` helmer, who previously worked with Bachchan in the yet-to-be released movie `Shoebite` and a few TV commercials, said the documentary is a tribute to the 70-year-old actor.
"I am making a documentary with Mr Bachchan. It is about him, his life journey. It is a tribute to him. It will take some time," Shoojit told reporters.
"He has a charismatic personality. It is an honour to work with him. Even at this age he is energetic and passionate about his work," he added.
Shoojit also has plans to make a biopic but did not reveal much about it.
"I have some ideas. At this moment I have ten story ideas with me which I want to tell to the audience. All of them are content driven films of different genre. I am working on a biopic as well," he said.
"I am working on a script, a biopic based on someone who has been part of recent history. The person is a legend," he added.
Shoojit said he was always keen to make a biopic on Bhagat Singh and praised the recently released film `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag`, based on legendary athlete Milkha Singh.
"I loved the film on Milkha Singh, it was inspiring, this was a real biopic. We in India need to make real biopics," he said.
