Siddhant Chaturvedi, who shot to fame for his role as MC Sher in Gully Boy, is all set to romance Deepika Padukone in Shakun Batra's next. The film will also star Ananya Panday in the lead role. However, this didn't go down well with a fan, who, during a video comment, told Siddhant that he would kill him for romancing Deepika Padukone.
According to KoiMoi, the fan said, ''Bhai mai tera khoon kar dunga ab. Tujhe Deepika ko romance karne ka moka mil gaya. (I will murder you now. You had the oppurtunity to romance Deepika).”
Siddhant replied to the fan message by saying, ''Theek hai, kya karu yaar? Ek baar kar lenge romance, fir khoon kar dena mera tu hi. Uske baad mai aise hi mar jaunga romance karte karte unko (What can I do? Let me romance her, then you can kill me. As it is, I’ll die (in happiness) while I’m romancing her).''
Siddhant was recently in the news for his savage response to Ananya Panday, who claimed that her dad Chunky Panday has neither been part of Karan Johar's show nor a Dharma film to highlight. Ananya said, "I have always wanted to be an actor. Just because my dad has been an actor, I will never say no to an opportunity to act. My dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan. So it’s not as easy as people say. Everyone has their own journey and their own struggle."
While everyone agreed with Ananya, Siddhant had a befitting reply to the actress's rant. He said, "The difference is jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai (their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled)."
Meanwhile, Deepika and Siddhant's film will revolve around their relationships. The film will go on floors in February 2020 and is set to hit the screens on February 12, 2021.
