Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Marjaavan and in between promotions is catering to all the social media uproar being created about his new macho look and old modeling days. The actor started his career as a model at the age of 18 but soon dissatisfied by the profession, he went on to work as an assistant director to Karan Johar in the 2010 film My Name Is Khan.

Recently, a fan on Twitter shared a throwback picture of Sidharth Malhotra from his modelling days. Wearing silver briefs and heavy makeup, Sidharth's picture left fans stunned. One user wrote: "Oh I don't recognize you" (sic).

Sidharth however had a very interesting take on the viral pic. Without sulking  or feeling embarrassed on the uncovering of some unseen pics he called them his  'struggling days' and ‘Show of ‘professionalism’ that he never 'questioned anything' back then. Take a look –

Marjaavaan is written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri under the banner of T-Series Production along with Emmay Entertainment. Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Milap Zaveri have previously worked on Ek Villan.

This is Sidharth Malhotra's second Bollywood outing this year after 'Jabariya Jodi',with Parineeti Chopra which vanished at the box office with a whimper.

The below-par performances at the box office suggests that Sidharth will need a Bollywood hit soon under his kitty and considering the trailer of 'Marjaavaan'  and his earlier collaboration with Riteish Deshmukh, it seems like the perfect promising outing for Malhotra to make his comeback to the A-List of Bollywood.
