A case has been filed against Sonakshi Sinha and four others for allegedly not performing at an event in Delhi, despite accepting payment for it, as per news agency ANI.
According to the complainant, Pramod Sharma, owner of Moradabad-based company India Fashion and Beauty Award, Sonakshi had even accepted the payment of Rs 37 lakhs to perform at the event but she failed to show up, and the company incurred huge losses. He also claimed to have spent an extra Rs 9 lakhs on the actress’ accommodation and travel.
The complainant told ANI, "I tried convincing her a lot to perform at the event and even told her that I will incur huge losses if she doesn’t come, but she refused to perform." An FIR has been lodged against Sonakshi and four others on charges of cheating, Moradabad DSP Gajraj Singh told ANI. Sonakshi and her legal team are yet to respond to this incident.
On the professional front, she will begin shooting for Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. She will be also seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming film, Kalank along with an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit and Aditya Roy Kapur.
