Remo D'Souza's upcoming film Street Dancer 3D has created a lot of buzz in the town since its announcement. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Aparshakti in lead roles. Varun today teased his fans with a new poster which shows him in an intense look, falunting toned abs and chiselled body. He is seen donning sleeveless zipper and has tattoos carved on his body. Varun also revealed the release date of trailer of the much-anticipated film.
The Kalank actor took to Twitter and shared, ''The battle is about to begin!! #StreetDancer3D trailer out on 18th Dec.”
Street Dancer 3D is the third installment of the 'ABCD' franchise. Initially, Katrina Kaif was the leading lady of the film, however, she backed out due to her other work commitments. Later, Shraddha was roped in for the film.
Remo says Varun has impressed him with his dance skills and fans have every reason to be excited about the film. “The story of Street Dancer is close to my heart. The way Varun, Shraddha, and I are bringing the story alive on the screen, the audience will become a fan of the film. It is an inspirational story and a family entertainer,” Remo said, speaking to IANS.
''Dance and acting both are performing arts. The more you do it, the more you mature. That is what happened to Varun and Shraddha. I am impressed by Varun’s maturity as a dance performer. Of course, we have collaborated before, and we know how good he is as a dancer. But in our upcoming film, he has really taken it to the next level,'' he added.
The film is set to create a new benchmark for dance films in Indian cinema. The film will be made in 3D. It will hit the screens on January 24.
