KL Rahul's personal life has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Speculations are rife that the cricketer is dating Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and their adorable posts on Instagram for each other have added fuel to the reports. Now, during a recent event, Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty was asked about her daughter’s rumoured relation with KL Rahul. To which he responded saying, "I am not having the relationship. You will have to ask Athiya."
Suniel was further quizzed if rumours are true and he replied, "You come and tell me if it is true, then we will talk about it. You don't know, how can you ask me then?"
It is rumoured that Athiya and KL Rahul have been dating for the past one year. They even went to Thailand for a vacation on New Year with their friends. The cricketer had even shared a picture from their holiday, which shows the two inside a phone booth. Rahul is holding an old-school receiver, while Athiya can be seen laughing next to him. He captioned the photo with a famous dialogue from the film, Heri Pheri: ''Hello, devi prasad....?''
KL Rahul addressed his relationship status in an interview to with Bombay Times. "Oh, all these things have been written about? I don’t really read the papers, so I don’t know what has been written about me. I have learned to keep my personal life personal and not make it a thing to talk about. I am committed to cricket right now," he said.
He was also asked if he was single or not, to which he responded saying, "I don’t really know. When I figure that out, I will give you a call and tell you."
Interestingly, KL Rahul was earlier linked to Alia Bhatt's best friend, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Rahul has also been linked to Niddhi Agerwal, who rubbished the reports and said that he was just a good friend.
