Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala faces copyright violation charges:
The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala hit the internet on October 10th and impressed everyone. The actor plays a man suffering from premature balding who becomes a big butt of jokes among his people. However, the trailer didn't seem to please the makers of Sunny Singh starrer Ujda Chaman as producer Abhishek Pathak filed a copyright violation against the Ayushmann starrer. The makers of Sunny Singh pitched it as the first film with a bald protagonist and released the trailer on October 1st. While Ujda Chaman is slated for a November 8 release, Bala which is based on a similar theme of a man dealing with premature balding, which was supposed to release on November 15, announced a new release date i.e. November 7, a day before Ujda Chaman. Both the films draw their inspiration from Kannada film Ordu Motteya Kathe whose official remake rights are secured with the makers of Ujda Chaman.
The Sky Is Pink Box Office Collection:
Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar’s The Sky Is Pink hit the screens on 11 October and opened to low occupancy despite positive reviews from critics. According to a report in Box Office India, the film collected approximately Rs 2.50 crore on the first day of release. The box office collection of The Sky Is Pink is getting a stiff competition from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War.
Dalljiet Kaur gets eliminated from Bigg Boss 13:
Four celebrities including Rashami Desai, Koena Mitra, Dalljiet Kaur and Shehnaaz Gill were nominated for eviction in the second week. Now Dalljiet Kaur has become the first contestant to get eliminated from the show. The actress received the least number of votes and hence she has been evicted from the show. As per reports, the actress might return to the show.
Bigg Boss 13 'Malkin' Ameesha Patel lands in trouble:
Ameesha Patel has been issued an arrest warrant by a Ranchi court in a cheating and cheque bounce case. The police even arrived at the actress’ residence on Saturday evening after a producer, Ajay Kumar Singh, filed a complaint against her for failing to repay a loan of close to Rs 3 crore she took from him to make the movie Desi Magic.
