Varun Dhawan called Zafar, 'gem of a character' while co-actor Sonakshi Sinha introduced Zafar as 'the flamboyant hero of our larger-than-life world', Lead actress Alia tweets he is 'feerless in love.'
Kalank is produced by Karan Johar who shared a picture of the multistarrer movie on March 6 to reveal the story behind the film's origin.
In his post, the filmmaker described Kalank as a film that was born in his "heart and mind 15 years ago." Karan further revealed that Kalank was his late father Yash Johar's dream project and wrote: "The last film my father worked on before he left us. It was his dream to see this film come through."
The first teaser of the movie is expected today and will be unvieled by the lead actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
Kalank according to Karan Johar is set in the 40s era and has been "woven, nurtured and visualised" by its director Abhishek Varman. He added, "Tomorrow the journey begins... I am excited, anxious and emotional about this one. I do hope you join us on our path to undying love."
