Rakhi Sawant backs Mika ; demands ban on Pak singers working in India
Mika Singh hit much controversy after a video of the singer performing in Pakistan at the wedding of a relative of former Prime Minister of the country Pervej Musharaf went viral. Soon the singer was banned by AICWA and FWICE and latter lifted after Mika apologised in a media briefing.
After Bigg Boss winner Shilpa Shinde expressed her support for Mika and slammed AICWA and FWICE for their move, now old friend Rakhi Swant who was in limelight for her wedding and rumours of pregnancy backed Mika. The actress and dancer although has earlier criticised Mika but through a video shared on her Instagram page has come out in support of friend whom she dragged to court over molestation charges back in 2006.
Rakhi in her video said that it should solely be a singer's choice where he would want to perform and the Cine-workers association should not impose a ban on such account. She even demanded a ban on Pakistani artists, singers working in India. Interestingly, Rakhi stirred controversy in May after she posted pics on Instagram embracing a Pakistani flag and attacked social media bashing. According to the actress, she was shooting for a Pakistani film Dhara 370.

A couple of days back Shilpa told TOI that FWICE is are bringing shame to their artistes by commenting about them and there are bigger problems in the industry to deal with like actors being made to work for extra hours. She even challenged them to stop her if they can if someday she chooses to go to Pakistan.
