Wedding cards are off the table for Channing Tatum and Jessie J. The duo who started a whirlwind romance last year have reportedly called it quits, shifting their relationship status to ‘just friends.’ A source from US Weekly said that the pair have ended their relationship amicably and decided to remain friends,
‘Channing and Jessie broke up about a month ago. They are still really close and still good friends.’ News that the pair had been dating for a couple of months broke in October 2018, and the couple enjoyed several low-key public appearances as well as regularly featuring on each other’s social media profiles.
Earlier this year, reports suggested that the duo are all ready to take their relationship to a new level by exchanging rings at the chapel. A source telling New! magazine in March said,
‘Jessie and Channing’s relationship has been going from strength to strength lately, which has really taken their friends by surprise’’.
Channing and Jessie got fans offguard when they started hanging out as a couple months before Channing and his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan announced they were divorcing at the start of 2018 after nine years of marriage.
As for ex-wife Jenna, she is dating broadway star Steve Kazee since October 2018, and the couple are expecting their first child together.
