Karan Johar is prepping up for his ambitious magnum opus Takht andd is also helming a slew of movies from Dharma Productions. Hrithik Roshan’s phenomenal success with War led to several speculations about his upcoming projects. Nevertheless, the actor stayed tight lipped about his new project and a few days ago reports did round that he is all set for a biopic on BCCI president and cricket legend, Sourav Ganguly in association with KJo. However, this news which literally broke the internet turns out to be completely false.
According to a report by Filmfare, sources close to the actor revealed that nothing of that sort happened and the news that was circulated was just a figment of one’s imagination and has no worthiness to it. Earlier reports suggested that Dharma has met Sourav Ganguly’s representatives to discuss about project, the rights. In an earlier interview Sourav revealed he has met Ekta Kapoor over the possibility of a movie based on him.
Meanwhile, it was reported Hrithik has walked out of Farah Khan’s Satte Pe Satta remake and is being considered for Lord Krishna’s role in Madhu Mantena’s Draupadi with Deepika Padukone in the lead.
Well, we hope Hrithik soon gives a nod to his next project, with so much speculation surrounding the actor's next venture post his last release, War's mega success.
