Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal and madly in love for years now and the Fukrey actress calls their story ‘nothing short of miracle’. Now reports suggest the couple will be the first B’town couple to walk down the aisle this year.
According to reports by Mumbai Mirror, the actor-couple, who met on the sets of Fukrey are planning a summer wedding in June.
“Richa and Ali are very happy together and are keen to take the next step to further consolidate their bond,” says a source close to the couple, adding, “Though they are looking at June-July to formalise the relationship, their preference is the first half of June.” Said sources close to the couple to the newspaper daily.
The couple however is not considering a destination wedding as other B’town couples. On the contrary, they are keen on Mumbai and Delhi as their wedding venue that will be preceded by four ceremonies. “Both the families are drawing up a list of potential venues, but they will be finalised only after the date is set,” informed the source.
Interestingly, Richa was asked about marriage plans with Ali when she told Bollywood Life in an interview, “Right now I don’t really know if I believe, I mean only if you decide to have children, you should get married.”
Meanwhile, when Ali was asked the same question a few weeks ago, he had reportedly said, “We’re two mature individuals, so we know what we want to do, how and when we want to do certain things. Our families are co-operative, they understand and are ready to give us time.”
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been in a relationship for more than three years now. The duo shared screen space in 'Fukrey' for the first time, and it was during the Venice Film Festival when the duo made it official.
While, Richa who appeared in Panga will be next seen playing the chief minister of a state in her next. To be directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film is titled Madam Chief Minister. Fazal will be next seen in Amazon’s Prime Mirzapur 2 and Americal thriller, Death on the Nile.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kpaoor are also reportedy taking a nuptial plunge by the end of 2020.
