Brad Pitt has lashed out a group of 'Straight Pride' parade group who used his name and image for promotional purposes. According to People, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star ordered ‘Super Happy Fun America’, the organization behind the parade, to take down his name and image from their website where Pitt was flaunted as a forerunner for the Parade. “Congratulations to Mr. Pitt for being the face of this important civil rights movement’’ the website wrote.

Following the complaint, a source close to Brad tell TMZ his team has reached out to the Straight Pride Parade organizers, demanding they stop using his name and likeness for their event following which Pitt’s photograph was taken down from their website.

The 'Straight Pride' Parade, a retaliation to the Pride Month was met with scoff by a lot of Hollywood A-listers. Calling out the group, Captain America star Chris Evans also took to Twitter in response to the parade which was headed by the three men in Boston.

“Wow! Cool initiative, fellas!! Just a thought, instead of ‘Straight Pride’ parade, how about this: The ‘desperately trying to bury our own gay thoughts by being homophobic because no one taught us how to access our emotions as children’ parade? Whatta ya think? Too on the nose??” Evans tweeted.

A week before, MCU co-star Dave Bautista had also called out a Rhode Island bishop who was urging Catholics to boycott Gay Pride Month events.

"My mom's a lesbian. I think I turned out ok. And the activities she chooses is to help the homeless and people suffering from mental illness. I admit I'm not perfect but at least I was never a judgmental hypocrite! Im sure you dont speak for most Catholics. Have a nice day," Bautista wrote on Twitter.
