Avengers: Endgame may not be the endgame for the Avengers universe after all. Because Marvel head Kevin Feige has confirmed that there will be a fifth avengers movie. The news for Marvel to expand their universe took off right after Marvel Studios’s line up of Phase 4 at San Diego, Comic Con. Fans were starting to speculate that Endgame could be the historic end of Infinity Saga when, Feige said otherwise.
After the big reveal at the Comic Con, MTV caught up with Feige and asked if it's possible the next team could actually be Young Avengers, to which Feige replied, "It will be a very different team than we've seen before," Feige confirmed. "That's what Endgame was all about. It will be a very different incarnation of the team with some people you've already met and some people you haven't met yet."
But with Iron Man and Black Widow gone, Captain America a happily-retired old man, Hawkeye returned to his family and Thor ventured off into space with the Guardians of the Galaxy, who will make up a team for the 5th Avengers movie?
With the release of Captain Marvel, Feige had previously hinted that Brie Larson aka Carol Danvers would be taking the lead.
"Captain Marvel is about to take the lead and be the forefront of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe," Feige said as part of the Captain Marvel Noovie featurette. But with other possibilities that include Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Thor, Shang-Chi and some of the Eternals, Peter Parker who was implied as Tony Stark’s heir in Spider-Man: Far From Home, only time will let us know.
