Singer Ariana Grande has got engaged to her boyfriend Pete Davidson. The announcement comes a month after the singer and Davidson, a comedian and actor, started dating.Â
The couple had recently confirmed their relationship status with a Harry Potter-themed photo on Instagram.
However, the couple are in no hurry 'to get married', as per sources.
"They are a perfect fit. They are not rushing to get married. Their friends are really excited and supportive," the source said.
Over the last month, the couple attended each others' shows and Davidson went a step ahead to get Grande's initials tattooed on his right thumb.
"They are both constantly making each other laugh. Their moms have met. They've been very public with their relationship on social media, and they are very much in love," the source said.
Grande confirmed the news by responding to fans' tweets regarding the announcement.
She wrote "I love you" to people who congratulated her and wished her happiness, and said she is "so happy and excited" and "crying".Â
The 24-year-old singer also shared photos of her and Davidson at Disneyland on Monday night on her Instagram story.Â
Grande was previously in a relationship with Mac Miller for over two years. They stopped dating in early May.Â
