The Royal couple of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to have a glittering wedding ceremony on Saturday. The ceremony is considered to be as Britain’s biggest social event of the year.
Harry is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth and Meghan is a television actress of popular show ‘Suits’.
The wedding ceremony will be a royal extravaganza at the Castle’s 15th century St George’s Chapel.
As per latest reports, Meghan’s father, Thomas will not be walking his daughter down the aisle in front of a congregation of senior royals, celebrities and the TV audience.
Meghan Markle in a statement said, “Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health’’.
“I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday’’, she added further.
After the hour-long wedding ceremony, the couple will take part in a procession through the town’s ancient streets on a 19th Century Ascot Landau carriage pulled by four Windsor Grey horses.
Preparations are in full swing for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Markle as hundreds of British armed forces officers took to the streets of Windsor to rehearse their roles this weekend.
It is expected that more than 100,000 people will assemble on the streets outside the castle which is the queen’s home in West London.
