Priyanka Chopra who has already achieved much popularity in the arena of Hollywood within a very short span of time is giving her fans yet another reason to cheer up.
Yes! According to a latest update the 'Barfi' actress is about to team up with Oscar -winner actress Octavia Spencer along with Claire Danes and Jim Parsons in their forthcoming drama namely 'A Kid Like Jake'.
According to a media report Ann Dowd and Michaela Watkins are also in talks to come on board the film which going to be helmed by filmmaker Silas Howard.
The entire script of the drama is inspired by Daniel Pearle's celebrated Lincoln Center play 'A Kid Like Jake'.
The story follows Alex (Danes) and Greg Wheeler (Parsons) who have high hopes for their son Jake, a bright and precocious four-year-old who happens to prefer Cinderella to GI Joe.
If the report turns out to be true the 34 year old Bollywood diva will be seen portraying the character of Amal the couple's friend and a newly single mom who is also trying to navigate the school system, as well as her own dating world.
The drama is all set to be produced by Parsons, Todd Spiewak and Eric Norsoph will produce via their That's Wonderful Productions banner alongside Paul Bernon for Burn Later and Rachel Song for XS Media.
On the other hand, Priyanka, the former miss world who is now gearing up for her forthcoming hollywood release 'Baywatch' is also expected to be featured against Shah Rukh Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming project 'Gustakhiyan'.
While 'Baywatch' is all set to be released on May 19, King Khan starrer 'Gustakhiyan' will hit the screens in 2018.
