New Delhi:

Hollywood’s perennial Adonis Brad Pitt finally won an acting Oscars for his stellar performance in ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’. With the Big ‘O’, Pitt has completed the winning spree. Earlier this year, he won the Golden Globes and the BAFTAS for the role in the Quentin Tarantino’s action drama. But what stood out at the Dolby Theatre was his acceptance speech. Unlike the SAGA where he teased about his ‘Tinder’ account and the BAFTAS where he spoke and ‘Megxit’, at the Oscars, the 56-year-old gave a very serious acceptance speech. (LIVE UPDATES)

In an unusual way, Pitt went all political and spoke about Donald Trump’s Impeachment Trial. “"They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week," Pitt said. For the uninitiated, Trump was recently acquitted by the US Senate during the impeachment trial. Democrats had wanted Bolton to testify after the former National Security Advisor announced he would be willing to if subpoenaed.

Pitt didn’t stop at that. "I'm thinking Quentin does a movie about it," Pitt continued, referring to his "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" director Quentin Tarantino. "And in the end, the adults do the right thing," Pitt said as the Crème de la crème of Hollywood applauded.

Dedicating the ward to his children, the 90’s heartthrob also mentioned his best friend Leonardo DiCaprio. "I loved the ethos of Cliff Booth. Look for the best in people, expect the worst but look for the best. Leo, I will ride on your coattails any day man," Pitt said in his acceptance speech. This is the first acting Oscars for Bitt. However, he has won the Academy Award as a producer for best picture winner ‘12 Years a Slave’ in 2014.

Pitt, who was presented the trophy by last year's best supporting actress winner Regina King. The actor was up against acting giants Anthony Hopkins (‘The Two Popes’), Joe Pesci (‘The Irishman’), Al Pacino (‘The Irishman’) and Tom Hanks (‘A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood’).

Once Upon A Time has brought Pitt out of the hiatus since his complicated divorce with Angelina Jolie. Single since his divorce, he didn’t shy away from talking about his personal struggle as a divorces during the SAGA 2020.  In opening his speech, he joked, "I'm going to add this to my Tinder profile." His went on to take jabs at everything from his director (who he said separated "more women from their shoes than the TSA") to himself. "Let's be honest, it was a difficult part -- a guy who gets high, takes off his shirt and doesn't get on with his wife," Pitt joked to a laughing crowd.
