No more early deaths for the actor with the most number of onscreen deaths, Sean Bean! Because the English actor has made sure that his character does not meet his maker as early as we saw in Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and almost all movies Bean has been in. With a total death of 21 in 23 year-long career, the 60-year-old made sure that made sure that his character survived before joining World Of Fire where he will be playing Douglas Bennett.

Talking to press at the show’s launch, Bean opened up abou how he told creator Peter Bowker that it was a ‘no’ from him if they decide to kill him off early.

‘It was a telephone conversation and I said, “I don’t die in this one, do I?” and he said, “No, no you’ll be fine. You’re alright.”‘ So now he knows Douglas makes it out alright (this series anyway!),

‘It’s something that’s just unfolding at the moment and all doors are left open’’ Sean said on realising that his character does not die.

‘There’s a lot more story to tell. I’m certainly interested because I want to know what happens to me children. There’s a lot of good potential to come.’

‘I’d seen him in Broken and I thought, I bet we can get Sean to do this role, because you can see where actors are moving’’ creator Bowker backed up Bean’s comment who also won ‘British Academy Television Award for Best Actor’ in 2018.

‘And his main concern when I rang him was that he didn’t die. That was it. “Do I die?” “No”, “I’ll do it”.’

Set as World War II drama, the movie also stars Helen Hunt, Lesley Manville, Blake Harrison and rising talents Jonah Hauer-King, Julia Brown, Yrsa Daley-Ward and Kasia Tomaszeski also star.
