Eddie Murphy is in negotiations to star in upcoming biopic on veteran funnyman Richard Pryor that Lee Daniels is directing.
Murphy, 53, has been recruited to portray Pryor’s boxer father in the film, which will star fellow comic Mike Epps in the role of the legendary comedian, said the Hollywood Reporter.
Pryor was raised by his grandmother, a hard woman who rana brothel, and by his father.
