Ex Machina, a sci-fi film on Tuesday adopted a new strategy for promotions.
The promotion came to fore on Tuesday after Tinder users at the SXSW festival on Saturday encountered an attractive 25-year-old woman named Ava.
An unknown user chatted with Ava only to discover that the attractive girl is no other than a robot having conversation via text message.
The discovery was made when the user went to her Instagram page and found out that woman in the photos is Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, who plays an artificial intelligence in Ex Machina.
The promotion strategy shows Ava's questions which are about a robot wanting to know what it's like to be human.
In the movie Ava plays a robot looking for answers.
