Hollywood star and Oscar Winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has tied the knot with her fiance Cooke Maroney. The 28-year-old actor and Maroney, 34, art director at the Gladstone gallery in New York got married in Rhode Island.
According to People magazine, the wedding ceremony and reception was attended by 150 guests that included celebrities such as Adele, Emma Stone, Kris Jenner, Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz and Joel Madden among others.
The duo started dating last year in June and Lawrence confirmed her engagement to Maroney in February this year.
Lawrence and Maroney have been linked together since June 2018 and were reporteded got engaged secretly on February this year. Makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi shared the envious photo of Lawrence, along with the caption, "YES!!! What a joy to be part of this moment!!
Here she comes! We couldn’t be happier and more excited for #jenniferlawrence to become a #MRS.. this weekend we toasted Jen and her groom to be.. too good of a time was had by all"
The rehearsal dinner took place in Rose Island, where the couple hosted 140 guests which also included Cameron Diaz, Joel Madden, Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen, and Director David O Russel. Lawrence's frequent co-star and "work Husband" Bradley Cooper was also rumoured to be in attendance.
Lawrence opened up about her now-husband for the first time inapodcast iterview. “He’s the greatest human being I’ve ever met,” Lawrence said about Maroney. “He really is, and he gets better.”
"It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honoured to become a Maroney.”
Lawrence was first romantically linked to Maroney in June 2018. They are reported to have been introduced by Lawrence's best friend Laura Simpson.
Before Maroney, Lawrence was in relationship with director Darren Aronofsky, who directed her in 2017's "mother!"
The Silver Linning's Playbook actress was last seen in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, also starring Jessica Chastain, Sophie Turner amongst others.
