Josh Brolin’s Thanos who played dad to Zoe Saldana’s Gamora in MCU just posted a thirsty comment on his onscreen daughter’s Instagram post and things got awkward. Zoe had posted a stunning picture of herself topless on her Instagram post with a caption, ‘Pre-everything….’. Eyes started to roll for Marvel fans when the Mad Titan came into the picture with a ‘Dang @zoesaldana’ comment.
While Zoe and Josh’s relationship are defined on the MCU screens alone, fans couldn’t help but point out the ‘daughter’ relationship to Brolin. Commenting on Brolin’s comment, a fan commented, ‘That’s your daughter bro lol.’
‘Behave man! She's your daughter fir god's sake’ wrote another. Others however came to Thanos’ aid pin pointing out that the Mad Titan and Gamora are not blood-related. ‘I’s ok guys she’s adopted’ wrote one fan. ‘Everybody talking about how she plays your daughter but, it doesn't matter, she's not ur real daughter, say dang all you want’ another also reinstated.
The complex relationship between Thanos and Gamora took a u-turn when Thanos scarified his daughter in Infinity War for the gauntlet. She was however brought to life along with many others. Speaking about her death in Infinity War, Zoe said, ‘In order for us to understand how evil of an entity Thanos is, it just made sense that we needed to see him sacrifice one of his children,’ the 40-year-old explained.
‘He’s the ultimate terrorist in the galaxy, and I really appreciate the fact that [directors Joe and Anthony Russo] took it upon themselves to flesh out the relationship between these two daughters and Thanos.’
‘Yes, of course it’s painful, but I kind of separate my personal preferences, and I really accept and honour the destiny that my character has’ she added.
