Jumanji: The Next Level has dropped, and just like the title, the movie promises to up the fun to another level. The official trailer just like the previous 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle romps through a series of action set pieces with a whole lot of CGI animals, that includes anacondas, monkey, ostritches, The Wall like scene from Game of Thrones and Danny DeVito and Danny Glover as the newest additions.
Unlike the 2017 movie where we saw the actors metamorphorsed into types completely south of what they are as Alex Wolf aka nerdy Spencer in his video game avatar as Dwayne Jonson aka Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Jack Black as the self-absorbed Bethany aka Prof. Shelly, Kevin Hart as Fridge aka Franklin Moose Finbar, the new trailer with its new level does not show the previous actors in their beloved roles. Infact, the 2.57 second trailer opens to a brand new characters as Dwyane takes on the role of Danny DeVito and Kevin Kart as Danny Glover as we ask ourselves where is Spencer?
While the trailer does show the old video game console return to suck the heroes into a new adventure, the gang once consumed into the video game finds out that nothing is as before.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, who also helmed the 2017 flick, ‘Jumanji: The Next Level apart from Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas and not to forget Rhys Darby as the repetitive Jumanji guide, Nigel. The Next level also welcomes Danny DeVito and Danny Glover.
Jumanji: The Next Level comes to the theaters on 13 December.
