New Delhi:

Will this old footage of Michael Jackson be a nail to the coffin to his legacy? Or is it just the King of Pop trying to live a regular, normal life, one that is not involve lights, cameras and paparazzies? Those who have been in update with the HBO controversial documentary, Leaving Documentary will know how the Dan Reed documentary is based on the sexual molestation charges against the late King of Pop. A new yet old disturbing footage has emerged of Michael Jackson shopping for a ‘wedding ring’ with a young boy also believed to be James Safechuck, one of the men who accused Jackson of repeated child sex abuse in Leaving Neverland.

The archived news footage, shot in 1989 at a Californian store, shows the King of Pop wearing a disguise including a stick-on moustache and false teeth to shop for jewelry with the boy. What is chilling about the video is that, in the disturbing allegations in Leaving Neverland, Safechuck claimed that Michael Jackson had a mock ‘wedding’ with one of his victims.

In the documentary, Safechuck had said, “So we were like this married couple,” Safechuck said in Leaving Neverland.

“I say married because we had this mock wedding ceremony.”

“We did this in his bedroom and we filled out some vows like we would be bonded forever.

“It felt good. And the ring is nice. It has a row of diamonds. The wedding ring.

“It’s hard to go back to that moment.”

Safechuck also alleged that Jackson used gifts as a way to manipulate him.

So, does this 1989 video at a Californian store of MJ buying ring with Safechuck supports the accuser’s claims? The Jackson estate has strongly denied the allegations and is suing HBO for $US100 million.
