Actor Owen Wilson is joining funnyman Jim Carrey in an untitled action comedy, being directed by Jared Hess. The film tells the fact-based story of a disgruntled armored car driver who is persuaded to risk it all for love, money, and extravagance.
He and his group liberate USD 20 million from a bank vault. But the group double cross the driver who is left alone on the run in Mexico while they live the high life.
The drivergets obsessed with revenge. Relativity's project is based on an original screenplay by Emily Spivey and has a script by Chris Bowman and HubbelPalmer.
The film will be produced by Lorne Michaels and JohnGoldwyn through their Michaels-Goldwyn banner, the Deadline reported.
Wilson recently completed the Wes Anderson-directed'Grand Budapest Hotel' and is currently in Paul ThomasAnderson's 'Inherent Vice'.
