Show us Baby Sussex: Media demands pics of Harry and Meghan' s first born

New Delhi:

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their baby any time now. However, before the baby is born, an announcement regarding the baby's first public appearance has made the media and paparazzi upset.

The British tabloids are reportedly upset at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because the royal couple recently announced that they will not announce the birth of the baby and will not have a photo shoot on the steps of the hospital. Markle and Prince Harry will only allow photos to be taken on the grounds of Windsor Castle when they are ready.

The couple has chosen not to follow royal protocol, which Prince William and Kate Middleton have practised, regarding the birth of their first child, whose gender has not been revealed.

British media claims the snub is infringing on its royal rights, according to The Times. "The public has a right to know about the lives of those largely funded by their taxes. You can accept that, or be private citizens. Not both."

It's believed Harry still harbours animosity for the media after it was alleged that his mother was killed in a car crash after she trying to escape from paparazzi even though the tragedy was attributed to her own drunk driver. Meghan is also reportedly "uncomfortable with the idea of a staged photocall so soon after giving birth,” according to Vanity Fair.

Those close to the royal couple may be dropping hints about the Duchess of Sussex’s due date.

Speculations are ripe that the baby will be born by this weekend which also happens to be the Easter weekend. If speculations come true,  it would mean a double celebration for the royal family as the Queen is turning 93 on Easter Sunday.
