‘Modern Family’ star Sofia Vergara and her fiance Joe Manganiello have postponed their wedding due to his movie ‘Magic Mike XXL’.
The couple revealed they’d hoped to tie the knot this year, but instead will do so later. Manganiello popped the question in Hawaii after they dated for six months, ported E! online.
Flashing her huge diamond ring in a strapless Zuhair Murad beaded gown Vergara, 42, said, “We wanted to get married this summer, but Joe will be busy working and promoting Magic Mike 2.”
The film, based on Channing Tatum’s time as a stripper, comes out July 1.
“We want to get married at a time when we can get away and make time for a honeymoon. So the wedding will probably be later this year,” Vergara said.
Manganiello, 38, added: “I would love to get married this summer, but I am going to be too busy promoting my male stripper movie!”
