With Robert Downey Jr saying goodbye to his alter ego in Endgame and the future Iron Man protégé looking bleak with the Spider man fiasco, is Tom Cruise the superhero Marvel needs? Well, a deepfake video has reimagined Ethan Hunt as Tony Stark and we have to admit, it looks disturbingly real.
The video created by Collider Downey shows Cruise’s face digitally morphed with Downey's in pivotal scenes throughout the Armored Avenger's extensive history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe staring from 2008's Iron Man, the inaugural MCU film, to Tony Stark's heroic sacrifice at Avengers: Endgame.

Talking about deepfake vidoes just a month ago, a user by the moniker 'Ctrl Shift Face' uploaded a video of Jim Carrey as Jack Torrance in the Jack Nicholson starrer in The Shining.
