The teasers of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage was shared by both Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel on Monday. The teasers suggest that the film packs full-on action. Deepika, who plays Serena Unger, has made her debut in Hollywood with the film. The teaser shows her quick with guns, knives and one-liners.
“Whatever you are here for, you are going to come up short,” Deepika tells Diesel in the xXx teaser. Diesel, who is playing the role of Xander Cage for the third time, says, “It is good to be back.” The trailer of xXx will be released soon.
Both the actors had earlier revealed the red-and-silver logo of the film. “The world has changed. We need people with the skills and the attitude to take on threats we don’t even know exist. We need a different kind of soldier,” Diesel had said.
Deepika had also revealed her character poster which had a bold tagline that read, ‘I don’t believe in good guys’. Directed by DJ Caruso, the movie also stars Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev and Samuel L Jackson. It slated to be released on January 20, 2017.
