John Abraham is back to his tough cop avatar to ignite the right amount of patriotism in you on the 73rd Indpenedence day with the release of  Batla House. Helmed by Nikkhil Advani, the movie is based on the Batla House encounter which took place in 2008. John Abraham’s intense look as the police officer will leave a powerful impact on the audience. 

John plays the controversial role of ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in the film. Batla House also features actors like Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal parts.

Batla House' reportedly features plenty of action sequences and patriotic dialogues, which might make it a feast for the masses. 

Filmmaker Siddharth Malhotra tweeted, "Saw #batlahouse last night @nikkhiladvani has crafted such a beautiful docu drama packed with entertainment @TheJohnAbraham is in top form and @mrunal0801 is wonder in every frame .. wish the wonderful producers @monishaadvani @EmmayEntertain @madhubhojwani @itsBhushanKumar."

Filmmaker Abir Sengupta who will make Bollywood debut with ndoo Ki Jawani sad, "he court of justice didn't care about his investigation but all he had with him was just his INVESTIGATION!
