If you are planning to watch a power-pack movie with something fresh and new to the Bollywood, Rajjo can be the film which you may like to treat your eyes with.

There are many things in the movie which you will see for the first time. First fresh thing movie brings is the all new gorgeous and outstanding performance by Kangana Ranaut as a red-light area girl.

Second fresh thing movie marks is the directorial debut of Sahitya Akademi Award winner Vishwas Patil. Third fresh thing movie showcases is the silver screen debut of Veer Shivaji actor Paras Arora.

The film showcases the story of a girl who lost her childhood in the red-light area and kothas. Although, she is the most famous and demanded girl of the town with a famous name ‘Rajjo Rani’.

She is also the top-notch dancer, with a belief to become the best classical dancer, fulfilling the desire of rich and horny men with her latkas and jhatkas. One day, a 21-year-old guy, Chandu (Paras) visits her kotha with not so good intentions and somehow falls in love with the queen. He also drops out of collage with a motive to rescue Rajjo from the ungracious whims of fate.

Kangana (Rajjo) has scored a full 10 in terms of performance but what takes the movie down is script, which has not given a free space to the character. Kangana, with a red lipstick, is the only thing which is driving the sailing boat.

Paras has also done a good job but not good enough against outstanding performers in the industry.

Vishwas Patil may have chosen a story that could drench anyone’s heart but randomness in the events during the play-up ruined it all. Well, the social message has come-out good but do not clicks the tear of emotion or grief.

The movie falls below expectations even after an outstanding performance by Kangana aka Rajjo.
