New Delhi:

Punjabi pop singer Guru Randhawa was reportedly attacked by an unidentified man after his concert in Vancouver, Canada. As per tribuneindia.com, the singer was attacked on head from behind when he was exiting the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on July 28, 2019. As per statements of people present in the concert, the man who assaulted Guru was misbehaving during the singer's performance as well. His singer friend Preet Harpal shared the viral picture on Facebook and expressed concern over an artiste’s safety at such concerts.

The police and ambulance were called on the spot immediately. However, the identity of the attacker remains unknown. After completing is ongoing Canada tour, Randhawa plans to visit Pakistan for a performance, reports News18. Guru Randhawa is known for his songs like Lahore, Patola and High-Rated Gabru.

In April Randhawa’s much-awaited Punjabi song Slowly Slowly with Pitbull was released by T-series. The multilingual track, released by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, is Randhawa's first international collaboration. “I am quite excited to collaborate with Pitbull and the song has turned out good. Pitbull’s contribution on the song adds a magical spin that gives it yet another international twist. It’s a huge step ahead in going global. This year has been phenomenal with Bhushan (Kumar) ji’s support and T-Series becoming the most viewed channel in the world, I think this collaboration will set Indian music on the global map," Randhawa had said in a statement.
