Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor is being treated at Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS after she was tested positive for coronavirus. Reports with photo evidence suggested that the Bollywood singer has attended parties, music events with political leaders like Vasundhara Raje, MP Dushyant Singh in attendance. Health authorities now have traces 162 people who were in the first-hand contact with Kanika before she developed symptoms and tested positive for Covid-19.
Meanwhile. the Uttar Pradesh has police has registered an FIR against the singer, for concealing facts and putting the public in danger. The development comes after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked officials to lodge an FIR against the Bollywood singer. The government has also asked the Lucknow administration to identify the parties attended by Kapoor.
Kanika recently accused the Lucknow hospital where she is admitted of not providing proper healthcare to which the hospital reacted and in a press release said, she has to co-operate with the authorities and utmost care is being taken for her as a patient and not as a star.
