Netizens have expressed anger at Katy Perry for her disregard for Indian law at the airport. The singer who was in India with Dua Lipa as part of the OnePlus music festival held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai caused outrage among fans when she was spotted entering the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj airport without producing her passport.

Calling out the singer for not respecting security protocols, a user commented, ‘Yes she is an international superstar but that gives her no right to disobey Indian laws and security protocols’’. Also expressing shock on the singer’s part, a user commented, ‘’This utter disregard of airport security check should be brought to the notice of administrators’’.
The singer who was in India for the music festival was seen hanging out with B-towners such as Ananya Panday, Aishwarya Rai, Alia Bhatt just before her powerful performance at DY Patil stadium. Talking about her visit to India, the singer said, ‘’I was overwhelmed with the energy and love I felt as I performed. I had goosebumps when they sang along with me to their favourite songs. I could not have asked for more. I am told this is your winter. And, knowing about the money and traffic, you should give yourself a round of applause. We love you and that’s why we are here’’.
