Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to enthral the audience with his upcoming film, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. In the film, Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of a gay man for the first time opposite Kota Factory star Jitendra Kumar. After dropping a hit Punjabi number, the makers dropped a new romantic track which is a perfect anthem to celebrate love. Titled Mere Liye Tum Kaafi Ho, the song shows Ayushmann recalling some of the best moments spent with Jitendra.
The track has been sung by Ayushmann Khurrana and it has been composed by the duo Tanishk-Vayu. The soulful lyrics are by Vayu. Ayushmann shared the song on social media on Tuesday and he wrote: "Aadha aadha hum jo dono mila dein, toh bann jayegi apni ek zindagani.''

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan also features Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Manurishi Chaddha, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo, Pankhuri Awasthy and Neeraj Singh in pivotal roles. Bhumi Pednekar will also make a special appearance in the film.
While the 2017 Shubh Mangal Saavdhan touched the not-discussed often topic-erectile dysfunction, the second instalment will feature a homosexual love story. The plot of the film revolves around how a conservative family comes to terms with the fact that their son is gay.
Ayushmann Khurrana recently shared his excitement for his role, "It is a beautiful story told in the quintessential Aanand L Rai style of filmmaking that will touch your hearts and leave a smile on your face." He further added, "It is one of the most brilliant films that I have read in a long time and it handles the subject of homosexuality really sensitively. It is a pleasure to collaborate again with the master storyteller of our times. It is an out and out entertaining film that will also make you think and that’s the hallmark of good cinema."
Written and helmed by Hitesh Kewalya, the film is being produced by Aanand L Rai. It will hit the screens on February 21, 2020.
